VITA is currently searching for a Senior-level Landscape Architect/Planner for our San Rafael office to head our Asia business unit.
Experience Required: 10-15 + years
Opportunity exists for a talented, motivated and dedicated individual to become a part of a dynamic International Planning/Landscape Architecture firm with projects throughout the western and southeastern U.S., Hawaii, Mexico, South America, China, India, Europe and Southeast Asia. The licensed professional will head our Asia business efforts; be responsible for business development; design; project/staff management; promotion; and will work with and report directly to the firm’s founder. The professional will be working closely with our clients and other professionals, helping to lead the firm’s planning/landscape team through project concept, documentation and implementation. This is a fast-paced environment requiring management, technical and professional skills and is a principal-track position.
- Resort, housing and/or golf-related experience in Asia is highly desirable.
- Applicant must speak Mandarin fluently and have used the language in business.
- Only designers with at least 10 years of office experience will be considered.
- The position is full time with full benefits, including meaningful participation in the firm’s profit sharing program. Salary commensurate with experience.
